I did a few more runs of Purity Forest today, and I actually managed to get a run all the way to the end after a few early losses. I got a Defense Scarf early on (actually an amazing item, you basically become immune to physical damage on most mons), then an X-Ray Specs a bit later, and I later got one Frust that turned into two Frusts linked together, enough to kill most things in one turn. Not Venomoth though. I also got a Warp Scarf that became really important on 80F+ (and even before then), as a lot of the time your best solution is to just teleport away. X-Ray Specs is really, really important, maybe the most important item for a Purity Forest run. Probably just the best item in the game period. I kinda wanna do runs with random mons, but I don't have most of the pokemon in the game, and while there's a save editor (I'd edit a BRT save for this) I couldn't seem to get it working immediately on Linux and this isn't something I want to tinker with to get working.

I did other things today too, but they're not really worth elaborating on. Like, I cleaned my coffee grinder. There isn't really more to add, it was just dirty and I cleaned it. Now I feel comfortable making my own coffee again.
